Yes — and it is one of the best things about staying in Seagrove. Walking to dinner is part of the experience here.
Walkable from Leeward Unit 2
From our condo at 613 Eastern Lake Rd, you can walk to several excellent restaurants without getting in your car. This matters more than most guests expect — it removes a layer of planning, lets you have a drink with dinner, and makes evenings feel genuinely relaxed.
- The Perfect Pig — about a 5-minute walk, our favorite breakfast spot on all of 30A
- Old Florida Fish House — casual seafood, excellent atmosphere, very short walk
- Angelina’s Pizzeria — reliable Italian, good for families and couples alike
- Bubba’s Seafood — casual, local, no-frills good
15 minutes on foot: Seaside
Seaside’s full lineup of restaurants is about a 15-20 minute walk by road, or 5 minutes by bike on the Timpoochee Trail. That puts Bud and Alley’s, Airstream Row, Dawson’s Yogurt, and the Seaside farmers market within easy reach without driving.
Why it matters
Walking to dinner on 30A is not just convenient — it is part of the atmosphere. Salt air, warm evenings, no parking stress. You come back to the condo the same way you left: on foot, relaxed, and without thinking about it. That is a different kind of vacation than loading into a car every time you are hungry.

- Buddy’s Seafood Market — short walk. Not a restaurant. Fresh Gulf catch you take home and grill.
Walking versus driving
In July, walking to Seaside beats driving. This is not a lifestyle statement — it is arithmetic. The drive is three minutes. Finding a parking space in Seaside on a summer evening can take fifteen to twenty. The walk takes fifteen to twenty and you arrive without having circled a lot.
Biking is better still. Five minutes on the Timpoochee Trail, no parking question at all, and you can carry things back. Most guests who rent bikes for the week end up using them for nearly every trip.
Practical notes
The walk to Seaside is flat, paved the whole way, and lit at the built-up sections. Bring a small flashlight for the stretches without street lighting if you are walking back late. The Timpoochee Trail parallels 30A for the entire route so you are never walking on the road shoulder.
Reservations matter more than most people expect in June and July. Café Thirty-A and Bud and Alley’s should be booked before you arrive. The Perfect Pig does not take reservations — go early or accept the wait.
The grilling option
Buddy’s sells whatever came off the boat that morning — grouper, snapper, amberjack, shrimp. Walk over, buy it, grill it on the shared on-site grill, eat it thirty feet from the water. This is genuinely how the best seafood gets eaten on 30A and it costs a fraction of a restaurant meal. Do it at least once.
